The Bacon Immigration Law and Policy Program and the Immigration Law Students' Association are co-hosting a panel on the impacts of climate change and environmental injustices on Central American Indigenous peoples. The event will feature Juanita Cabrera Lopez (Maya Mam nation), Executive Director of the International Mayan League, and Blake Gentry (Cherokee nation), Director of the Indigenous Languages Office at the Alitas Shelter for migrants and coordinator of the Development Commission of the National Council of Indigenous Peoples in Diaspora.
