Dan Levenson is a performer and teacher of traditional Appalachian Old Time music. A full-time musician, he has traveled the country with fiddle and banjo, singing songs and telling stories of the road, his musical journey, and his Southern Appalachian roots.

The Ways of Resilience is a 4-part series of live chats with 4 amazing artists / culture bearers who’ll share stories from their lives and practice on resilience and where they find it and how it shows up in their work. All artists and heritage practitioners are recipients of Southwest Folklife Alliance’s Master-Apprentice Artist Award recognizing traditional artists and culture bearers in Arizona.
