Thanks Brian, such important work! My question is about whether there is a point at which you declare rare species 'unsaveable', and then wonder if focus should be on the next-rarest category. Or is it that the most species-rich places contain also the next-most rare category, so it wouldn't really change recommendations?
Does 'native/introduced' status enter in your quantification of commonness? e.g. Some invaders are rare in their native range. (Predictable question from me)
