"At the Table" Speaker Series: The Gastronomic Avant-Garde
From feasts, fairs and Futurism, to Pop, festivals and food activism, this “At the Table” talk with Dr. Paul Ivey will provide us all with food for thought by highlighting the relationships between food, art and culture. He will chew the fat on the visual art of food and the aesthetics of cuisine, providing as examples a smorgasbord of modern and contemporary artworks that will leave the gourmand museum-goer hungry for more.
