International Coordination Group

Join the International Coordination Group (ICG) meeting for a monthly opportunity to engage virtually with your colleagues across UArizona about global engagement and international research.

ICG meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month of the academic year, 9:00-10:00 AM (except for December and May). UArizona faculty, staff, postdocs, students are welcome and encouraged to register for the monthly Zoom ICG meeting. You only need to register once to receive a link to attend any/all of the ICG meetings.

ICG Meetings for Spring Semester 2023*:

January 18 - Geopolitical Impacts on International Higher Education presented by Dr. Jenny Lee, Professor, Educational Policy Studies and Practice in the College of Education, and Dr. Hillary Vance, Assistant Vice President of Southeast and South Asian Affairs, International Education, Arizona International

February 15 - Incorporating areas studies into international research proposals presented by Dr. Jane Zavisca, Associate Dean for Research & Graduate Studies, College of Social and Behavioral Sciences

March 15 - Western Hemisphere Research Priorities, Justin Dutram, Assistant Vice President, Mexico and Latin America Initiatives, Arizona International, and Representative from the Social Sciences & Humanities Research Council of Canada

April 19 - One Health, Dr. Frank von Hippel, Professor, Public Health & Dr. Aminata Kilungo, Assistant Professor of Practice, Public Health

*There is no meeting in May.
